Dr. Cramer,

I was just informed of fliers on campus that have your home

address, which says "WHY IS YOUR PROFESSOR SUPPORTING WHITE

SUPREMACY?" and "students and community members are strongly

encouraged to contact him and tell him to withdraw support for

YWC." I thought i'd let you know so that you can plan for some

sort of protection. I'll draft up a letter later tonight to the

DTH about this. I'm not entirely sure how to go about this

problem, but it seems like an indirect threat to your safety.

9/18/2009 12:14 AM I come back from Bridge and respond to

Nikhil with colt 45 note. I copy Haley, Holden, Schultz (CH News Editor)

Thanks for your concern; I have a Colt 45 and I know how to use it. I 
used to be able to hit a quarter at 50 feet 7 times out of 10.

was quoted as saying she "hopes the case inspires other

activists"; evidently she has. I regard this as a serious

threat to free speech on this campus. "

    This email is highly inappropriate.  It is certainly not consistent with the civil discourse we are trying to promote.  I would like to talk to you about this by phone.  Can you let me know a phone number where I can call you?

9/18/2009 ~3:00pm Call from Holden. He says Haley or others may

use this against University and he may have to ask me to

resign. I read my letter to him and he asks me to resign. He

announces that YWC is shut down until another advisor is found

getting out of control. If there are people out there who

wish to do me harm, it is well that they understand that I

may be prepared to defend myself. I didn't start this;

Haley did. I hope you will reconsider; if you dissolve

YWC, Haley and her friends will have won and the

University will have lost.

be fearful of my revealing that he sent an email

supporting me. I think this is a far more serious problem

than my jokinqg about a colt 45.

10pm I would have simply forwarded Nikel's email to me.

9/21/2009 3:18 PM email from Chris (former advisor): Holden has proposed a

committee of people including, Hugon, me, and Jon Curtis

to advise YWC. I get call from Tarheel about an hour

later, asking me about plan. Instead Holden excludes me

and adds Chris.

9/22/2009 11:49 AM Article in Herald. Email to Holden: “It seems

to me that my inadvertent inclusion of a joke pales in

comparison to the real intimidation which included the

chanting of "We know your addresses", an obvious threat.

It would be good if the University spoke out about this.

As for Haley, she has made her intentions clear in her

interview (attached)”
